During office hours, the shoreline has a common view where people are seen rushing from ferryboats and motorboats towards buses and minibuses. The district also gets the flavour of a seaside place, where chirping of seagulls mingles with the sound of motorboats and foghorns making it one of the finest views of the city.The shopping district at the place is located behind the ferry dock with lots of restaurants and major Ottoman mosques.
